There is some amazing research done by a professor of mine that essentially uncovered that people in states of scarcity participated in more acts of benevolence than people in states of abundance.
Even when given more, those who were already abundant gave less than those scarce people who became more abundant.
I think this goes to show that benevolence does not have to do so much with what we have, but rather with what we are willing to give.
Without letting you know the conclusion of the research, why do you think what I mentioned above was the case?
