I want to introduce you to a concept called Asset Based Community Development.

Essentially, this Professor named Jody Kretzmann believed that to rebuild neighborhoods, communities should focus on assets of the town rather than what they lack.

This leads to camaraderie and unity that drives success for community and its inhabitants.
